Estonian National Male Choir (RAM)

Estonian National Male Choir or usually called RAM (Rahvusmeeskoor) is one of the largest professional men’s choruses in the world. Founded in 1944 by Gustav Ernesaks (1908–1993), the legendary leader of Estonian choral movement, it has been conducted by several recognized Estonian choral conductors: Olev Oja (1964–1991), Kuno Areng (1966–1990), Ants Üleoja (1991–1997), Ants Soots (1994–2005). Since the fall of the 2005/2006 season the main conductor is Kaspars Putniņš and the second conductor is Mihhail Gerts.” (1)
