Tuija Rantamäki has been the 3rd solo cellist of the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra since 1994. In addition, she plays in the Avanti! Chamber Orchestra. Rantamäki won the Turku Nordic Cello Competition in 1990.
Tuija teaches cello playing at the Nurmijärvi Music Institute and is one of the founders of the Syksy Soi! Festival held in the same municipality. She also studies Educational Sciences at the University of Helsinki. Tuija loves chamber music and blueberries.
