Oksanen, Aino

Viola

Aino Oksanen picked up the viola for the first time at the age of 14 at the suggestion of her teacher. Surprisingly, the soulful sound of the viola immediately felt so much her own that the decision to change the violin to the viola was easy to make. Aino has studied viola playing at the Sibelius Academy, Dresden and Munich. She has also familiarized herself with the sound world of the baroque viola. Aino started working as a member of the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra in 2020 and also regularly plays chamber music. Aino loves hiking, craftwork and horror movies.
