Description
Kalle Oittinen (b. 1988) is a Finnish saxophonist and saxophone teacher. He holds a Master of Music degree from the Sibelius Academy of the University of the Arts and is a saxophone lecturer at the Tampere Conservatoire and teaches part-time at Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK) and the Sibelius Academy. Oittinen performs extensively in classical and contemporary music, working as a member of the The Aava Saxophone Quartet and TampereRaw, among others, and as a guest performer with symphony orchestras. He has received awards both internationally and in Finland, and his career has been supported by several notable foundations.
Tuomas Turriago is a composer, a pianist, an arranger and a conductor with a career spanning over 30 years as an open-minded chamber musician. He has performed extensively at Finnish music festivals, composed an extensive body of work ranging from chamber music to operas and orchestral works, and his works are published by Fennica Gehrman. Turriago is a lecturer at Tampere University of Applied Sciences, a part-time teacher at the Sibelius Academy, and an active conductor with several orchestras and the contemporary music ensemble TampereRaw.
