plays both cello and viola da gamba and is the solo cellist of Helsinki Baroque Orchestra. She studied at the Sibelius Academy with Markku Luolajan-Mikkola and at the Paris Conservatory with Christophe Coin and Bruno Cocset. Peltoniemi has played in ensembles and orchestras around Europe for instance in Capriccio Stravagante, Cordevento, and the Finnish Baroque Orchestra. She arranges the concert series and art exhibitions at Pitäjänmäen kyläkirkko, Helsinki.
