Unrecorded.

Many talented artists have been overshadowed in the world of classical music due to gender, ethnicity or socio-economic background. It is necessary for the development of music to realize that we cannot see and hear the history of classical music in its entirety if voices are ignored and discriminated against.
Finnish composers Ann-Elise Hannikainen, Helvi Leiviskä and Cecilia Damström have all created wonderful, still largely unknown works for the violin repertoire.
The goal of my Unrecorded album series is to tell the stories of these lesser-heard tunes and bring neglected Finnish works to life by turning the manuscripts into easily accessible, listenable recordings.
Releasing recordings of these marginalized works is crucial as it raises awareness of this wonderful music for generations to come.
