About this release

"The soprano Marjukka Tepponen, who is making a career with a strong upward trend, is recording opera music filled with the sweet pain of love from composers such as Mozart, Donizetti, Bellini, Gounod, Offenbauch, Charpentier and Strauss. A couple of significant domestic competition wins have built a foundation for certainty. Tepponen's expression is strong and her sense of style is on point.
