About this release

The SILVER SOLITUDE CD contains 7 new compositions by the Hungarian-born László Süle. The album brings together the classically oriented string quartet Scarbantia String Quartet and two jazz musicians, Pentti Lahti and Hannu Rantanen. The composer himself plays the piano. The result is sparkling, partly improvisatory jazz of our time. The album is Alba's second so-called a hybrid jazz disc, i.e. it can also be played in multi-channel 5.1 format on an SACD player. Janne Wiksten is responsible for the recording.
