”Tiiviin jousisoinnin ja laajahkon väripaletin ohella Keski-Pohjanmaan orkesteria sopii ylistää ohjelmiston tuntemuksesta. Uuden levyn säveltäjänimistä Kapp, Larsson, Fordell, Blomdahl, Oja ja Medins eivät kuulu Itämeren alueen tunnetuimpiin mestareihin, mutta heidän teoksensa soivat raikkaasti ja muodostavat kauniin kaaren. Kokonaisuutena soitossa ei heikkoja lenkkejä kuulu. Riittävä keikkailu lienee saanut ohjelmiston istumaan orkesterille kuin hansikas. ”

”Juha Kankaan johtaman Keski-Pohjanmaan Kamariorkesterin uutuuslevy Silent Moods on jatkoa suuren suosion saavuttaneile Portraits ja Fiddler´s Spring- levyille. Cd sisältää Itämeren rannoilla syntyneitä, kansanmusiikilla höystettyjä sävellyksiä.”
