"...The diversity of the music becomes clear right from the beginning of the first part, when the bass register rumbles ticklingly before the sparkling treble motifs.
The tension builds through the fourth movement to the exhilarating fifth movement Despair and surrender, during which Norvasuo and organist Tomi Satomaa also reached their best. Satomaa found the power of the composition in the sharply bouncing rhythms and layered sonorous themes. Many ingredients and quotations are hidden behind the flowing melodies, for example Gregorian music, chorales, folk music, Folia theme and Suvivirsi. As interpreted by Satomaa, the elements stood out and gave the music an extra dimension."…

"The title of the album is from the collection Piae Cantiones about the legend of Bishop Henrik. Kaj-Erik Gustafsson has composed a living organ fantasy from it. Tomi Satomaa does not play brass at his desk. But even though the restrained and stylish choices stay far from extremes, the candle does not fall short. The album grows into a controlled and skillful whole. Ilmari Krohn turns out to be an organ composer with a penchant for krumelurus. Jarmo Parviainen also has extra energy and courage in Partita. Jyrki Linjama's sketches of the chorale "Shut up all our worshipers" are interestingly original.

”…Musiikin monimuotoisuus käy selväksi heti ensimmäisen osan alkutahtien aikana, kun bassorekisteri jyrisee kutkuttavasti ennen säkenöiviä diskanttiaiheita.
Jännite kasvaa neljännen osan kautta pakahduttavaan viidenteen osaan Epätoivo ja alistuminen, jonka aikana myös Norvasuo ja urkuri Tomi Satomaa ylsivät parhaimpaansa.
