About this release

The final recording of Seitakuoro's Lapland trilogy - the other parts of the series are Arctic views from 2011 and Pictures from the north from 2015 - continue the world premiere of works composed for Seitakuoro, like the previous ones. Whereas Seitakuoro's decades-long sheet music archive had been mined for the previous records, the works on this recording are the latest and were only completed in 2019 for the composition competition organized by Seitakuoro.
